Partners With Youth 2008

The YMCA is a great place to get active, get involved, get moving and get fit! Many programs and services are directly related to children and youth because we believe in building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. Because of this, no child is ever turned away from participation due to a family's inability to pay.

 

How can we do this? Simply put - it is all because people in the communities we serve realize the vital importance of providing children and youth with safe, sensible and pleasant activities in order to steer their lives in the right direction. These people support our annual Partners With Youth campaign which raises money for scholarships.

 

Our goal for the 2008 campaign, which kicked off in May, is $75,000. Members and friends of the YMCA are currently being solicited for support but the invitation is open to everyone to help secure the future of our communities by investing in the YMCA. Our third annual Great Golf Ball Drop, held June 25th at Tekoa Country Club, added over $3,500 to the campaign, but there's still a long way to go.
